長い夏休みが終わり、2学期最初の日。
夏休みに印象に残ったことをみんなに書いてもらいました。
様々な場所に行って新たなものを見たり聞いたりしながら有意義な経験をしたり、普段は離れている家族とゆっくり時間を過ごすことで色々な発見があったようです。また立教英国学院での生活を別の視点からみることができた人もいたようです。

My Summer Holiday
I want to write about my summer holiday. But, actually, I didn’t do any special things during this summer. I just went back to my home, and idled away my time every day. One day, I suddenly noticed that I prefered Rikkyo School in England to my home. So, Rikkyo School has become my second home. Yes, I know! It’s terrible! I think I don’t like Rikkyo School. And also, I don’t hate Rikkyo School either. But in my subconscious awareness, I like Rikkyo! I think it is my home. I was surprised!

During my summer holiday, I went to Wales with my sister and father. We went there by car. It took about 5 hours from my house. Wales was such a beautiful place. I saw many red dragons and a very old castle. Also, I went to a city in Wales, too. I went to the sea there. This trip was fun and I was happy. I saw beautiful cities. Next time, I want to go there again with my mother, too. In my next holiday, I want to go to France or Russia, and I want to see ballet.

I went to my grandmother’s house with my family. I saw my cousin, grandfather, grandmother, aunt and uncle. I returned to my grandmother’s house for the first time after a long time. So, my cousin had grown in height. I had grown three centimeters in a year too, so they were surprised. We talked about school life and daily life. We had a good time talking about our lives. It was fun.
I enjoyed staying at grandmother’s house. My grandparents were kind to me. I felt it was a very short day. I want to go to my grandmother’s house again. I’m looking forward to seeing them next time.

I went to Yamanashi with my family to see Mt. Fuji. We did some activities. We made curry in the forest and paddled a canoe in Kawaguchi Lake. It was nice. I tried HSK (Chinese Exam) rank2 during summer and I passed. I want to learn more Chinese, so I’m going to study hard. Also, I want to study English, too. I think my English level has gone up a little because when I had some free time, I watched some movies in English. I had a good time. It was satisfying.
