At Millais school, I was surprised at the number of girls, facilities and automatic doors. Everything was vivid to me so sometimes I was confused. I felt less worried because when Millais girls came to Rikkyo, they would have felt similarly because we had not explained much as we felt it was normal. In Millais school, there were many opportunities and I felt that I had great experiences for my life.
At my partner’s house, her parents were enormously kind to me and they planned everything like sightseeing. So I was able to go to lots of places and have fun with my host family.
On the last day of my stay, my partner told me she wanted to visit Japan someday. I would like to return the favour so I said that I would guide her when she comes to Japan.
In order to learn and exchange knowledge about different cultures, we need to spend more time in the culture you want to explore.
