Dear Shinya
Hello! How are you? On 11th November, I went to Smithbrook. It’s near my school. Smithbrook is like outlet store. I saw something. First, I saw a glass art. In Japan, you and I went to glass art in Japan. Do you remember? Outside is very cold, but inside is very hot!! It is 30 degrees! It was like summer weather!! But its work is very beautiful!
Next, I saw a scuba, diving goods shop. There are a lot of things in this shop. For example, very big tank, goggle, swimming wear. But inside it smells bad.
Last, I saw a Pottery Making shop. There are a lot of pottery in shop. Shop assistant performed about painting on the pottery. She painted very fast!! How can she paint so fast?
What do you think? I want to go to glass art again. I think glass art is the most interesting!
I think you want to go to glass art, too.
I will be back to Japan in winter. Let’s go to glass art again!
See you winter!
My best friend

Hi! I went to Smithbrook Kilns yesterday. It was a short school trip and the purpose of going there was to interview two people who have done great things in their life.
There are two people I asked on the school trip. One was a woman who launched her own brand of handbags and there what surprised me was that she recycles all materials such as second hand jackets to make one handbag. Also each handbag is not the same, they are slightly different. The other was a man who helps animals which are threatened with extinction, by raising money. He also gains money by paining portraits of animals in wild life and selling them. When I finished asking them, my group went to a cafe. There we had a tea time which was actually the most memorial part for me, because that was the first time for me to have an English tea-time. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Overall, this trip was so good improve our English by asking questions that I would like to go again.
See you soon.

How are you?
The day before yesterday our class went to Smithbrook Kilns for the trip. Our purpose was to talk English.
I enjoyed the Cafe most. The reason was because my friend and I ordered together 2 cakes and one cup of hot chocolate but the waitress misunderstood and brought 2 cups of it. But how lucky our teacher paid for one cup of hot chocolate. My friend and I were very pleased about it. The cake was also very delicious and was also big enough that I was full.
After, we went to see “Rebecca Jane” the fashion designer. We heard a lot of things from her and the thing I heard that most impressed me was that she uses old Jackets and makes them into handbags. I was very surprised. I was also surprised when she told us that she made more than 3000 bags by hand. I was mostly interested in a recently designed bag. I liked this !! I saw many things and I experienced many things there. If I have the chance to come again, I want to.

Hello, how are you these days?
Last Wednesday, I went to Smithbrook Kilns for the first time. Do you know what place it is?
There are lots of small shops together. There was an accessary shop, kitchen utensils shop, grooming service… I particularly enjoyed “Rebecca Jane”. Rebecca is a fashion accessaries designer. She makes bags and other accessories from recycled materials. We asked her a lot of questions like why did you start your shop? How long does it take you to make one bag? All the answers were very interesting. I really liked her designs. I like antique things, you know.
We also went to “David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation” office. They save endangered animals. I was so sad to hear the facts about world environmental problems and a number of animals that are killed in a year. I think we should know about this kind of problem more. There are lots of things we can do for sure.
I enjoyed it there so much. I’d love to go there again.
You should come with me next time!!
