5月11日に本校で開催されたJapanese Evening。100名を超す地元イギリス人の方々が来校し、生徒達が工夫を凝らして紹介した日本文化を堪能しました。そのお礼メッセージをご紹介します。

My daughter, Saffron, and I attended Open Evening at the Rikkyo School on Friday evening and wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed it. We learned some new cats cradle ‘moves’, failed miserably at the blindfold ‘make a face’ game, made colourful tissue paper flowers and Saffron had her name written in calligraphy. We watched the tea ceremony which was beautifully carried out by the students. We would also like to say how interesting we found the presentation on aspects of Japanese life which included an amazing advertisement for the Harinacs stapleless stapler. We now all want one of those!
The students ran the evening beautifully, with enthusiasm and courtesy. We felt very welcome indeed and hope that we may come again another time.
