以下、ホームステイをした先から手紙が届きましたので、ご紹介します。
このご家庭は今回が初めての受け入れだったようですが、立教生の様子がとても好印象であったことが手紙から伺えます。

My husband Paul and I hosted Keita, Yoshiki, Satoshi and Yuhei during half term week. As this was the first time we had taken part as hosts for the Rikkyo School, we did not quite know what to expect during their stay.
Firstly, they were all very polite. Secondly, they were punctual when going out or returning home, and thirdly, they were a joy to cook for. We had some good conversations round the table about their families, Japan and school. Together, we enjoyed a Japanese dessert sent by Satoshi’s father.
Despite the appalling weather all week, they shopped in Guildford and London and visited the Spectrum. Here at Plum Tree Cottage they played billiards, watched tennis and football, were delightful with our cats and dogs, and bravely swam in the pool one sunny but cold evening.
We wish them all well for the future, hope Keita and Yoshiki pass the English exam, and praise them all for their mature conduct.
